Small boards. A bigger plan.
Each little board is a regular game of tic-tac-toe. Claim it by making a row, column or diagonal of three. Win three little boards in a row, column or diagonal to win the whole match.
The square you choose sends your rival to the matching board: choose the top-right square and they must play in the top-right board. If that board is already won or drawn, they can play in any unfinished board. The first player can start anywhere.
Play a friend on this device, create a private room for different devices, or face the house bot. Friendly is relaxed, Clever looks ahead, and Fiendish searches further. The bot runs entirely on your device. Undo takes back one move with a friend, or your last turn and the bot’s reply in solo mode. Finished rounds stay on the scoreboard and can’t be undone.
Use arrow keys to move between available cells and Enter or Space to place a mark. On phones, tap a board to open larger squares. The zoom view follows the next required board. Changing the setup or choosing New round starts fresh. Scores stay in this browser, separately for friend games and each solo setup.
For online play, choose Private room, create a room and share its code or link. Your friend joins on their own device. The server keeps the board and room scores in sync. Both players must agree to a rematch; the first mark alternates. Refreshing this tab restores your seat. Undo and solo resets are unavailable online. Leave room closes it for both players when connected; a disconnected seat stays reserved until the room expires after 24 hours.
